ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Haj Nabih Masjid Tajwid & Tarbiyah After-School Program is committed to teach students the recitation of the Qur’an with tajwīd and instill within them the central and essential teachings of Islam which are obligatory on every Muslim to learn. This program is geared towards each and every Muslim boy and girl of our community. It is an ideal opportunity for school-going children to learn the recitation of the Qur’an, gain an Islamic education, and learn Islamic values and morals in a conducive environment.

Our program not only concentrates on Qur’anic recitation with correct tajwid, but also on Islamic disciplines such as the seerah & sunnah of the Prophet (S), Islamic legal rulings, du‘as for various occasions, and prophetic narrations. The Seminary also strives to nurture students’ overall moral and ethical values, preparing them for leadership of the Muslim community.

CURRICULUM
WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN:
Registered students will be evaluated and placed in a class that matches their level. Students will attend a one-hour class twice a week. Lessons will be based on the Nouraniah method which focuses on teaching students:
• How to read and recite Quran, with Tajweed rules
• Qur’an memorization
• Simple meaning of Qur’an (Tafseer)
* The Qur'an recitation portion of the class is tailored to each student individually. Students who have no experience reading Arabic will begin learning to do Those who have the ability to read Arabic
There will be separate classes for Boys (5 and up) & Girls (5 and up) -16 year

OPERATING SCHEDULE
The school will operate year-round except the weeks of Eid Al-fitr and Eid Al-adha. Classes will be offered as follows:
All beginner levels: Mondays and Wednesdays: 5:00pm to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
All Hofazz levels: Tuesdays and Thursdays: 5:00pm to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Note: Hoffaz are those who finished Nouraneiah and memorized at least one Juzu’, or chapter, of the Qur’an.
ENROLLMENT FEES: $50 per student per month
